On February 28, 2022, Suite929 announced the launch of a new, standalone podcast network – The 9ine (Spotify), dedicated to elevating Minority voices and creators, and sharing cultural experiences with listeners. The 9ine Podcast Network (presented by TechWeLike.com) airs exclusively on Spotify.

929 represents New York City’s newest area code (since April 2011), while also symbolizing all things new. All Suite929 shows and events are available in High Definition, and viewers can select between 720 and 1080, depending upon local bandwidth and other variables.

Suite929 is formerly owned by CHELCA Publishing from 2011 to 2022 until it was spun off into a separate independent company.

LEADERSHIP

Chuck Holliday // Founder, lead producer

Chuck Holliday is an American television producer and camera operator. Holliday is a former field photographer for WNBC 4 New York and Bloomberg Television. He has also produced on shows at LXTV, Bravo, Oxygen, Sportsnet New York (SNY), Conde Nast’s The Scene and FOX Business Network.

Holliday broke into the business in 2007 as an unpaid camera operator for Buffalo ABC Affiliate WKBW’s “Official Heat” late night entertainment show. In addition, he worked as a line producer for ThisIs50.com (The Round Table Show and The Syndies), owned by rapper 50 Cent. Showing up to video tapings in 3-piece suits, Holliday often greeted 50 Cent as “Mr. Cent” and Tony Yayo as “Mr. Yayo.” He quickly earned the title, “Up Chuck” for his anti-fan behavior towards celebrity guests who appeared on the show.

Holliday became a favorite at WNBC 4 New York, where he was an assistant producer on LX New York (now titled New York Live), while also working as a camera operator for WNBC local news. Holliday spent several years at NBCUniversal, working in a variety of roles ranging from a producer within their cable division to sound stage production for shows within the LXTV division.
