Owners Suite: Back to Work

It didn’t feel like i’ve been retired for nearly 4 years from photography, but shaking off rust this past week shooting a friend’s artist for a new episode of Glamours Edge was not as hard as I predicted going into the shoot, given the fact that I basically twisted my ankle in a 90 degree like angle 2 days prior (hence why i’m wearing boots in the middle of August). Another factor that played into things was me gaining some weight this year, which does play a role in shooting, especially since I’m not used to shooting with the added weight, thus limiting my angling stuff I usually do.

Originally the plan was for Glamours Edge to end after 4 years this past summer, but will continue through the year, and will make room for a new series (although likely the same type of format, but with a new name).

This was shot downtown Brooklyn by DUMBO (down under the Manhattan Bridge overpass), where alot of artists have filmed music videos dating back to the 1990′s (especially at night with the silhouette of the Manhattan Bridge lit up in the background).
